Meet Dr. Teddy

Teddy R. Bland Jr. was born and raised in Lake County Florida. He attended Florida State University earning his Bachelor of Science Degree in Family and Child Sciences with special focus in Child Development. He continued his education at the University of Florida, College of Dentistry, earning a Doctoral of Dental Medicine degree in 2005. Dr. Teddy then completed two years at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston Dental Branch, where he earned a Master of Science in Oral Health and obtained his Certification of Training in Pediatric Dentistry in 2007.

Dr. Teddy and his wife Meigan reside in Mt. Dora with their three children, a French Bulldog and a kitty.
Meet Dr. Mackenzie
Pediatric Dentist · Lake County, FL
Dr. Mackenzie was born and raised in Orlando, FL. She attended Clemson University, where she majored in microbiology and organic chemistry and earned a minor in biology. She went on to receive her dental degree from the Medical University of South Carolina, graduating in the top five of her class. Dr. Mackenzie then completed her pediatric dental residency at the University of Louisville, where she served as Chief Resident and trained at a Level I trauma center hospital. During residency, Dr. Mackenzie developed a special focus in laser dentistry and specialized in lip tie and tongue tie revisions. Helping children improve oral function through laser treatment remains one of her greatest professional passions — she loves “saving the world, one tongue tie at a time”.
In late 2024, Dr. Mackenzie and her family moved back home to Florida, where she joined the Mid Florida Pediatric Dentistry team in January 2025.
Outside the Office
Outside the office, Dr. Mackenzie and her husband, Joshua, stay busy with their two children — one boy and one girl who are two and a half years apart — and their dog, Presley. As a family, they love spending time outdoors, going on long walks, visiting the beach, and making the most of weekends at Universal and Walt Disney World.
Dr. Mackenzie enjoys all aspects of pediatric dentistry, but her greatest passion is helping children achieve healthier, more comfortable smiles through thoughtful, compassionate laser and dental care.
Meet Dr. Susana
Pediatric Dentist · Lake County, FL
Dr. Susana is originally from Pinar del Rio, Cuba, where she graduated with her degree in general dentistry and was Valedictorian of her class. Her journey then took her to Venezuela, where she made a significant impact by volunteering at elementary schools. After moving to the US, she graduated with high honors in the top 10 of her class from Nova Southeastern University College of Dental Medicine. She received the prestigious Robert E. Primosh Award of Academic Excellence.
Dr. Susana is not only a dedicated professional but also an active member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, the American Dental Association, and the South Florida District Dental Association. Her passion for working with children and promoting a lifetime of good dental care and health shines through in every patient interaction.
Outside the Office
Dr. Susana is a devoted family person and art enthusiast. She loves spending time with her two sons (and fur baby), and cherishes watching sunsets with her husband, who is also a dentist. She believes deeply in solidarity, peace, and contributing positively to both her family and society.
